CO Pilot Charles Scott (Grand Rapids) completed yearly manual updates and scheduled upcoming maintenance appointments for multiple aircraft. Scott worked on update problems with navigation systems and prepared equipment for upcoming wildlife-survey flights.

CO Pilot Tim Gray (Bemidji) attended a district meeting and prepared for upcoming survey work.

CO Pilot Bob Geving (Mankato) started the annual nesting waterfowl aerial survey, with the first three flights based out of Mankato. Next week they plan to move operations to Alexandria.

CO Pilot Jason Jensen (Brainerd) reports flying a station flight where some potential aquatic plant management and Wetland Conservation Act violations were found. Jensen also took enforcement action on an ATV operator who was carrying a passenger under 18 years old without a helmet.

NR Pilot Brad Maas (Brainerd) took part in DNR Day at Rippleside Elementary School in Aitkin with a helicopter. Groups of students worked their way through different stations learning about many different types of DNR work. He also completed an aviation webinar, a training class, and did administrative tasks.

NR Pilot Gracie Zeller (Brainerd) flew several training flights. Vehicle maintenance was performed.
