CO Koleby Dingmann (Sauk Rapids) spent the week working sport fishing and boating activity. Miscellaneous wildlife-related calls were handled in the station. Assistance was given to local law enforcement agencies and equipment maintenance was completed.

CO Ryan Hanna (Milaca) received complaints about bears being a nuisance and being aggressive towards domestic dogs. Bears are naturally afraid of humans but do not like domestic dogs. Remove all food sources and eventually the bear will pass through the area.

CO Mike Krauel (Mora) spent the week checking anglers. Krauel and K9 Bolt also performed AIS inspections at accesses throughout Krauel?s station to look for zebra mussels on boats and boat trailers. Enforcement action was taken for no angling license in possession, taking walleyes out of season, angling with extra lines, no life jacket, and operating an unlicensed motorboat.

CO Blong Lor (Center City) spent the week checking anglers. He also checked the few boaters who were out. Time was also spent working the border-water walleye opener.

CO Trent Seamans (Big Lake) patrolled for anglers and turkey hunters. Additional time was spent assisting with Academy training and presenting at an ATV safety class. Enforcement action was taken for fishing without a license, targeting fish in their closed season, and allowing a juvenile to operate an ATV illegally.

CO Justin Frisch (Cambridge) spent a large part of the week checking anglers in the area. Enforcement action was taken for violations including no license in possession and expired boat registration. Frisch followed up on a wetland-fill violation and assisted other neighboring conservation officers with ongoing big-game and small-game-violation investigations.
